as you've probably read... the majority casts this movie as a disappointment... AND IT IS! You still have to watch it though - fighting scenes make it worth while. Venom could be A LOT BETTER as he's Spidey's arch nemsis...

Spidey 3 was a great movie. Before I say anything else, I want to ask all you spidey fans out there. When you watched spidey and spidey 2, did you get this feeling that you wanted more spidey, more effects, more villains, and more great acting from great actors? I did. That's what made me wanting to watch this last one, because, for now, there may not be a 4th, 5th, or 6th one, because none of the cast and crew, want to do more. So watch this movie because even though it has too much crying, sad scenes, and the action scenes are spread apart, in the end, I know you'll like or love, this movie, even by a tiny bit, as you come to this website and give it a 1 star rating. I was expecting a action movie all i got was a poorly acted love story.Most of us were there to see venom and not watch kirsten dunst drone on and on.How long is this piece of drivel.

As you would expect great special effects. But, Toby and Kristen where terrible, especially at crying. Pretty bad when the audience laughs at what's supposed to be a sad scene. This movie was too slow for an action flick. Needed to see alot more of Spidey than we did. Afterall, he's the real star of the show.

Hmm. Another tough one. It wasn't horrible. It wasn't amazing. It wasn't average. But I did enjoy it quite a bit. The CGI of Venom was PERFECT, and even Topher Grace did a good job as Eddie Brock. As one would think from all the marketing of the film, there is a LOT of stuff in this movie even though it's almost 2.5 hours long. They did a good job editing it, but there is an almost absolute certainty that there will be an extended version coming out at some point. As I said, there is a lot of stuff in this movie, but I honestly can't see how they'd be able to take either Venom, Sandman, or Gwen Stacey out of the movie and have it actually better. Too much hype!!! It was aweful trying to tie up loose ends. The suit to make him a cocky, hated person.. Is more an idiot, comedy in all the wrong times and places. Just wait to go on video.

Should be called Cryerman. How many times can Spiderman cry? And what was with the Saturday Night Fever bit in the middle? By far the weakest of the 3. The only saving grace was the action scenes, when they eventually got to them. Very disappointed.

i dont know why every one says spiderman 3 was a bad movie,in my opinion it was long but the best out of the 3,how many comic book movies can have 3 movies that sell and every one loves,the movie had venom(who i dont believe is dead)and sandman even new green goblin was good,thats just in my opinion i dont care what no one else thinks

what a terrible movie, i'm almost insulted by how simple the plot was and how much idiot action there was...speaking of action, it was blurry and incoherent. And what is with 'dark spiderman' its just peter parker with gallons of eyeliner!!! stupid, just stupid...and a dance sequence? wtf?!?!?

It's better than 2. It has good visuals. If you're open minded and still have the heart of a kid, well... go see the movie, you won't be dissapointed. Hey it's a superhero movie. I wouldn't change a thing. It's entertaining.

I gave this movie 4 stars because the special effects and action were AWESOME.There was too much love crap though. The storyline wasnt as good as the first 2 but still a must see!!

This movie is HORRIBLE! Tobey's bad for this role, and the 70's walk and dance? Totally embarassing! Thank god for James Franco! His Harry's more interesting and it's the only good thing about this movie.

Predictable spiderman, entertaining but the kids will get restless when they try and turn a kids comic into more, and attempt a academy award drama drive throughout the movie, go one way or the other make your mind up. SHould have been more old fashoined action and less boring drama, common who takes it that seriously.

I was not as good as the first and second one, but I fo were done really well. Too many plot lines though especially with the character of Sandman...there were also very good humour from Tobey Macguire surprisingly. Oh ya Toby really can't cry in the movie!

Overstuffed with too many villians and underdeveloped as a story, this sad entry to the third film is a rude awakening that action sequences without any character development is a total bore.

i was so exited to see the movie but i was very disappointed. I am usually very nice when it comes to rating movies but this one sucks. I fell asleep because the movie was too long. The story line was bad too many villans. Spiderman was geeky in the beginning then kinda gothic, he wore more makeup that i do, he was also too emotional and this is coming from a woman i say save ur money. The only good thing about is 5 minutes of good fight scenes otherwise boring

WOW! This was great, HOWEVER! There were too many flaws in it. I keep wondering what the hell Raimi was thinking? There was way too much going on in one movie. If he wanted these many characters, he should have waited for a fourth one. I am a huge Venom fan and he was just kind of crammed in at the end. What the hell? NOT ENOUGH VENOM...TOO MUCH CRYING...TOO MANY PLOT LINES. It should have been more simple and more focused on one main villain. VENOM!

I don't know, I think comparing to the first and second movie, this is not the best movie of spider-man. They try to fit so much stuff into it and with no focus on a particular character, and the plot is bit a messed. It made the movie so weird, it lost the heroic feeling, and it gains so many funny elements that is so werid

This is an awesome movie! Those that don't like it are on the neo-Spiderman bandwagon... fans of the movies, who know nothing about Stan Lee's Spiderman. i.e. if it isn't in one of the movies, they don't know about it. Too many tears they say... Peter Parker is a normal guy, with normal feelings.. that's what makes him the traditional Spiderman. Anyone who loves Spiderman, not just the movies, will Love this movie.

This movie was ok, hardly spectacular or amazing, just ok, and that is attributed simply to the visual effects. Tobey Maguire is PURE CHEESE, Kirsten Dunst looks like she just rolled out of bed in every scene, I mean honestly, why does she always look tired and drabby. In terms of villains, CUTOS to James Franco, who in my opinion, was the only good thing about the movie, in fact I believe his scenes compensated for all the other garbage that was unneccessary. Sandman was ok, a little too reminiscent of the Mummy films, and finally Topher Grace as Venom was a let down. His acting was fine I suppose, but as a villain, and a big one, he deserved more storyline, or they should have developed hi
