one of the best movies of the year, probably one of my favourite ever. johnny depp is breathtaking and a great actor i saw it twice and i hope theres a sequel WOOOWWWW

The movie was okay at best. Less than expected given all the good reviews that have been posted to date. It was just far too predictable. I give it 3 stars.

Excellant movie. Highly entertaining and accelerating to say the least. Definitely worth whatever price it cost to enter. Johnnie Depp adds a excellant comedic slant to an adventure of epic proportions.

I thaught that pirates of the carribean was fresh and original. Johnny Dept was fantastic, he even puts captain hook to shame! Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley were also very good in the movie! I personnally went to see the movie alot of times, and I never get tired of seing it!

Johnny Depp was absolutely outstanding as "Captain" Jack Sparrow and will keep you laughing throughout! Hilarious and adventurous; what more could you ask for?

this movie was amazing. depp could have convinced me that he truly was a pirate, and orlando`s role as legolas must have prepared him for the fighting scenes here!

Pirates of the caribbean was an excellent movie by far. An instant classic. Don`t ruin it by making a second one though. It was a wonderful movie but just don`t ruin it with a stupid sequal. orlando and knightly live happily ever after. the end.

I wasn`t expecting too much, since it was a disney movie based on one of their themepark rides. but i was proved wrong. it was hilarious at times, and exciting at others. johnny depp was absolutely perfect for the role, and geoffery rush was excellent as captain barbossa. and orlando bloom played the hero of the movie perfectly. all in all it was tons of fun.
