An odd film for sure, and not every one will enjoy the style. None the less it is true to the Mad Max legacy and leaves you a little awe struck. Some of the FX are over the top and I can't say I fully understood what they were saying all the time, but luckily the dialog is not crucial to the story so I didn't really fell like I missed much. Tom and Charlize were decent in their roles but Nicholas Hoult was the real stand out. Also there is a lot of buzz about the electric guitar guy, but I don't get it... he seemed out of place in my opinion. I had no choice but to see this in 3D (since no one will show it to me on a normal screen) and I found it distracting, probably took away from the overall experience. 3.5 Stars.

I was expecting a disappointment but actually it was really entertaining, none stop action. If your expecting some crazy ass plot then this isn't the movie for you, pretty much in line with other max movies.

An excellently directed action film. While it is light on dialogue and general exposition, the film does a great job of showing us about the world in small details, and subtle bits of character interaction.

i.m a big fan of the older mad max but did in joy the newer movie thought Tom could have had a better action part charlize kicked butt i really loved her above all the actors nicholas part was pretty cool yes please go see this movie on the big screen it.s a must

Basically a long drawn out chase scene. It felt like I was watching a "part two" of a movie I had missed "part one" of. Such a disappointment.

I can't say anything good about this movie other than it ended. I appreciate explosions and had high hopes for this as I'm a fan of Mad Max, but this, I have no clue what this was. They should have renamed it so it didn't drag the Mad Max name down. No story, characters made no sense, things explode for no reason, just an overall terrible movie that could have been amazing with a little explaining of a back story.

mad at max, its a film of wildly odd outfitted trucks and vehicles. No story really , no Max really, I was so tempted to get up and leave and get a refund. Hoping it would get better, but Not really, pretty much a waste of 2 hours

I REALLY wanted to like this film. Saw the trailers & 'the making of' and it looked pretty cool. I'm a big fan of Mad Max films and I love a good action flick. But c'mon ... it's gotta make a LITTLE sense. It was constant non-stop stupidity & mayhem. I didn't care even a little bit about the characters and gave up trying to figure out what they were doing and why about 5 minutes in. Stuff seemed to be thrown in for no reason other than it was (in the director's mind) a cool shot/stunt. I mean WTF is the guy playing the flame-shooting guitar ... and the 'mother's milk'? If you don't like the Mad Max movies from the past you may not like this.People giving it 2 & 1 stars are forgeting something...it's an ACTION movie not a DRAMA!! This is pure fast adrenaline, the action was very intense. Yeah the plot was very basic but again....IT'S AN ACTION MOVIE!!! Rotten Tomatoes gave it 98%!... That tells you something

One of the actors described this as a "vaudevillian spectacle" and that is really the most apt way I can think of Fury Road. It's pure adrenaline. The plot is shaky, but it's like a live action video game- the stunt work is awe inspiring, the cinematography and colour composition is jaw dropping and the characterizations are exactly what you'd want from them. Held against other high octane action films, this stands above

Terrible movie, I had a headache after watching this. It was just insanity posing as a plotline, there was no story, just a bunch of people being evil and weird. Tom Hardy as Max had zero personality. I wish I had saved my money.

Absolutely amazing movie. It may not be for everyone as it's basically 2 hours of non stop action but it also does a great job at developing the story and moving it along.

Blown away. As an old school Mad Max fan... it's at LEAST on par with Road Warrior. This film delivers... your money will not be wasted.

Great movie excellent action scenes throughout the film. My son and I liked it in 3D which I would recommend. If your a senior citizen or can't handle full out action I wouldn't recommend it. The characters are a little weird but creative.

A symphony of adrenaline! Not much dialogue, so if you like a lot of talky-talky go watch a romcom. Nothing is missing from this movie except seat belts. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G

It was surprisingly good! The beginning was really weird, fast and trippy like I was on acid. But then 30mins in the charcters started to delevop and show their strengths, weakness and humour. The ONLY thing laking was a solid story. There was no back story on the characters on where they came from, how they came to be there. There was no soild foundation just go, go, go!! See it on a Tuesday and NOT in 3D. Loved Tom and Charlize, they had great chemistry. And the side characters we're not annoying.

Action packed, non stop action! Seen it at Polo Park w girlfriend and she enjoyed it also. only complaint is the music in the movie is a lil off...... but I guess the whole movie is off the wall

Mad Max Fury Road: I just watched the matinee, and not sure what to think. Although the action scenes, car chases, explosions, and special effects are completely over the top (like the other Mad Max films) I thought they were very entertaining - you really couldn't ask for better such action if that's what you're looking for. On the other hand, I thought that the story was very much lacking. Of course, again so were the other Mad Max movies, but any sort of non-action scenes involving, you know, emotions or plot or thinking, were flat and felt very much tacked on as an afterthought. I think I would recommend it - but only to folks who are huge fans of the older movies in the series.
