Just watched the Letterman interview with Miley Cyrus. So boring. It doesn't take place in front of a studio audience and we don't see the behind the scenes of her life, like has been done for EVERY other one of his interviews. It's clear that she wanted it this way, she describes her father as a narcissist and says she inherited those tendencies from him. I believe it (for her, at least - I don't believe anything she says about her dad because she used him to get famous and then dumped him), after watching this. And she dragged her mother, who very famously cheated on her father during their marriage, onto it to meet Letterman, but then dismisses them both out of the room before the mother even gets a moment to say anything interesting. I could almost see Letterman rolling his eyes at points, although he keeps very professional.
