Sinners starring Michael B. Jordan as twin brothers debuted in the top spot at the weekend box office, bringing in $45.6 million.
A Minecraft Movie starring Jason Momoa slipped to second place at the weekend box office, adding another $41.3 million for a three-week total of $344.6 million.
The King of Kings from Angel Studios, which features a father telling his son a bedtime tale about Jesus, earned another $17.3 million for a two-week total of $45.3 million.
The Amateur starring Rami Malek as a CIA decoder on a mission took in an extra $7.2 million for a total of $27.3 million.
Rounding out the top five was Warfare, which earned another $4.9 million for a two-week total $17.1 million.
