A-list star Johnny Depp is absolutely unrecognizable in a photo released by Lionsgate this week. This first look at the upcoming movie Day Drinker showcases his striking transformation, which makes him nearly unrecognizable.

He sports a full head of silver-gray hair pulled back into a bun, a bushy gray beard, and piercing eyes, enhanced by blue contact lenses. Johnny, 61, is dressed sharply in a stylish blue suit, leaning against a bar with a cocktail in hand, exuding an air of sophistication.

The "silver fox" look marks a dramatic departure from his usual unkempt dark hair and brown eyes -- and after Lionsgate posted the photo seen at left on Instagram and X, social media users immediately compared him to iconic characters like the "Most Interesting Man in the World" from Dos Equis commercials and his own portrayal of Gellert Grindelwald in the Fantastic Beasts series.

One X user remarked, "What sorcery is this? Even with the gray hair, he looks younger every day."

Fans and critics also praised the makeup and costume team's work on this impressive makeover, celebrating it as a fresh era for Depp's career.
